MOSS GLEN FALLS - STOWE, VERMONT

The upper plunge leading down into the fans and slide of the lower falls.

Description: This is quite possibly the best waterfall in the state, depending on who you ask.  It has everything a waterfall enthusiast would want: it is isolated in a beautiful wooded area in a state park, and it is over 100' tall, consisting of a beautiful upper plunge to a pool that veils out over another amazing fan waterfall and slide.  There are trails all around the area, and you can even wade up to the bottom of the falls and get an up close look at the beauty.  If you are in Stowe, visit this one along with Bingham Falls for a great waterfall experience, as we did when filming the WCAX Destination Recreation feature in '09.
