VERMONT WATERFALLS
BLACK FALLS - MONTGOMERY, VERMONT |
|
The final slide coming around the corner in high flow leading to the swimming hole.
Description: This is a very remote waterfall in Montgomery, but it is a beautiful area. The upper part of the fall is a small block fall that turns a corner and then slides for over 50' down to the swimming hole below. The surrounding area is loaded with beautiful scenery, and there is a glacial escarpment leading up to the falls that is worth the trip alone. This is a great site for falls, and for a nice summer swim.
