VERMONT WATERFALLS
LYE BROOK FALLS - MANCHESTER, VERMONT |
|
The upper steps of the enormous Lye Brook Falls.
Description: Lye Brook Falls is a spectacular natural wonder in southern Vermont. It is easily on of the top few falls in the state, and has a little of everything. It is very tall, over 150', and it is isolated deep into the green mountain national forest. It takes a hike to get here, but it is worth it, as the falls are so serene, and unique as they veil down the bedrock. The only downside is that it can get quite small if the summer is dry, but given enough water, this falls is world class. This is a must-visit if you want to truly experience the isolated beauty that Vermont waterfalls have to offer.
