VERMONT WATERFALLS
LOWER BLACK CREEK FALLS - FAIRFIELD, VERMONT |
|
The main block on the left of the mill, a 20' fall into a large pond below.
Description: Black Creek has many waterfalls along its course, and one of the most visible is the lower falls in East Fairfield. The falls are about 20' of block falls, and their is a split into two separate falls. There is an old mill site found between the falls that is quite preserved. The pond below the falls is also quite scenic. The fall roars in the spring runoff, and becomes quite well defined in the summer months.
