KING'S HILL BROOK FALLS - BAKERSFIELD, VERMONT

The powerful 30' plunge leading into the pool below the bridge and deep gorge.

Description: This fall is quite close to civilization, coming out from under a side road, only a hundred feet from a main highway.  It is down in a deep gorge, however, giving it some nice seclusion from the surroundings.  The falls are a very powerful plunge, which is intense in spring.  The brook meanders on below the falls, and can be traversed quite easily to get to the bottom of this fall.  The gorge is quite spectacular, and this falls is a decent plunge, although not very natural.
