THE BRANCH FALLS - ENOSBURG, VERMONT

A small plunge into a deep pothole during low flow.

Description: This fall is not very large, but the area is teeming with signs of the industry of old.  This site, nicknamed the "Dynamo", was once a thriving hydroelectric facility.  There is still a very visible penstock and powerhouse area.  The actual falls is a 15' block fall that leads to some deep potholes formed by the current.  Some smaller slides lead downstream to a large swimming hole.  Please respect the wishes of the landowners and ask permission if you would like to view the falls.
